Standing on the dunes at North Beach, looking east towards the lighthouse on Point Wilson. In the far distance is Whidbey Island, and behind that the North Cascades. If you could turn to the left, you'd be looking out across the Straight of Juan de Fuca towards the San Juan islands and Canada! Not visible on a stormy day like this, though. The view from the top of the bluffs is often spectacular. It's so easy to create art in such an inspiring landscape! This is watercolor on some actual watercolor paper, good stuff.
